pvLABS FAST Technology

Six Degree of Freedom Stabilization.

FAST combines three-axis rotational stabilization with three-axis linear active isolation to achieve full 6DOF that delivers class-defining stability and SWaP-C performance.

By eliminating previous-generation inner-gimbal constraints found in the majority of systems flying now, FAST enables greater usable payload volume, significantly less weight, higher image quality, and superior performance across a wide range of system sizes.

Performance that scales without redesign.

Optimized for SWaP²-C, FAST delivers measurable advantages in precision, range performance, efficiency, and mission value—without increasing system mass or integration burden.

As missions evolve, PVLABS' FAST technology evolves with them.

 FAST Differentiators

  • Greater aperture in smaller form factors

  • Consistent performance across multiple turret sizes

  • Sensor upgrades without aircraft modification

  • Modular, open integration framework

  • Lower total cost of ownership through component commonality

  • Fiber-optic signal path for uncompromised imaging

  • ITAR-free for unrestricted global deployment

FAST Applications

A stabilization platform designed to support multi-mission domains.

  • ISR and targeting across air, land, and sea

  • High-altitude LiDAR and precision mapping

  • Secure, high-speed optical communications

  • Directed-energy and advanced sensing systems

  • Custom sensor platforms for science and technology missions

FAST exists so new missions don’t require new architectures.
