PV Labs utilizes state-of-the-art imaging and data acquisition technology to deliver solutions for infrastructure monitoring and assessment. Our infrastructure solutions feature the LDG, a multiple camera sensor system that is used to acquire continuous high-resolution imagery to support field data acquisition, asset mapping and visual infrared inspection for utility, pipeline, telecommunication, highway, railway and construction industries.
Our solutions are supporting the growing need for analysis of aging assets and/or the development of infrastructure improvement plans.
Look Down Gimbal (LDG)
Advanced Technology
At the heart of our solution is our Look Down Gimbal (LDG), an aerial mounted, multi-camera sensor package that is used to acquire high resolution data at the highest level of stability available in an aerial camera platform. The LDG also features geo-steering capabilities for advanced marking and tracking of targets using GPS technology. Through its advanced features, the LDG provides a comprehensive survey of the asset being inspected, forward and straight-down-looking.

ce Detection Sensor Technology
Ice Detection Sensor Technology detects ice on aircrafts, runways, and roads with potential applications in a variety of transportation safety issues.
The Ice Detection Sensor Technology utilizes the principals of spectral reflectivity to detect and identify the unique spectral signature of ice. Currently under development, this ice detection solution will be ready to demonstrate in December 2011.
