LDG

Pictro0208-015426_608

The Look Down Gimbal (LDG) was designed with the customer’s needs at the forefront of product development.  It is an open architecture design that provides customers with a high performance gimbal system that also allows for ease of implementation and versatility when evaluating and deploying new airborne sensors.  PV Labs supports all LDG integrations with  the experience, quality, and reliability required to operate in the most demanding environments.  When you choose the LDG, you are getting more than a stabilized platform- you are getting on time delivery, expert support and extensive industry experience.

- High Performance: PV Labs has integrated over 30 different sensor payloads into the LDG platform for government and commercial applications. Our customers demand a high performance system with sub 5µRad stabilization performance and we continue to deliver.

- Highest payload size to weight ratio in the industry: Our light weight materials and efficient design allow the total system weight to remain low while permitting heavy payloads. We use high performance materials to reduce weight without sacrificing stiffness and strength.

- Universal Gimbal: The LDG can integrate a vast array of sensor payloads and allows users to swap payloads. The large internal payload housing accommodates big or uniquely shaped payloads; perfect for hard to integrate or emerging sensors.

- Precise geo-spatial meta-data: Assigning precise meta-data relies on a stable platform, and the LDG delivers better than 5µRad stability. Utilizing patented XR2 motion management technology, the LDG provides stability and jitter control for long integration times, sharp images, and superior meta-data.

PSI Vision System

Wide Area Motion Imagery – that works.  PV Labs’ PSi-ViSiON system delivers high resolution images over broad geographical areas, allowing users to target multiple areas within a footprint and also providing users with a view in real-time or the ability to look-back in time.

With “TiVo” like capabilities, the PSi-ViSiON system integrates sensors, gimbals, storage and retrieval technology for a complete Wide Area Motion Imagery (WAMI) Solution

PV Labs WAMI system is the only fully exportable, ITAR free, solution available today.

 – Delivers continuous high-resolution imagery

– Monitor multiple real-time areas simultaneously

– Retains wide area persistence while viewing subset areas

– Able to cue spotter systems or be cued by alerting systems

– TCMS data structure designed for real-time, reach-back and remote access

– Optimized for bandwidth constrained data links – only transmits data that is needed

– Integrates with existing PED infrastructure

Demonstration system installed and available on high performance aircraft – King Air 200

About

PV Labs combines the passion, genius and experience of the team that created the aerial cinematography market and disrupted the military aerial surveillance market with the agility and customer focus that the market deserves.   We have continued in that tradition with the introduction of Gen-V Technology.

We are passionate about creating the benchmarks for high performance, reliable and affordable aerial imaging and data solutions; we look forward to sharing our passion with your team.

Gen-V

Gen-V Technology represents the fifth generation of stabilization technology and is the first platform stabilization technology to utilize a six degree of freedom “Flex-Pivot-Isolator” to replace the traditional mechanical constraint system in a gimbal.  The new technology includes both software and hardware that enable a structure to provide a simple, direct support for the imager.

Gen-V technology has enabled a rapid expansion in PV Labs current product line for image acquisition in the cinematography, geospatial and public safety markets. We are on the leading-edge of intelligent imaging innovation for the most demanding and challenging applications. Our team of experts continue to revolutionize the way visual images are collected, processed, and transformed into actionable information.
